The Perfect Boyfriend

perfect = adjective; conforming absolutely to the description or definition of an ideal type, exactly fitting the need in a certain situation or for a certain purpose, entirely without any flaws, defects or shortcomings.

In this world, girls would always think they have the 'perfect' boyfriend. But what is the perfect boyfriend exactly? These days, you see couples who only last a few weeks or months. Others; those who believe and know they have found their true loves, last for years.

So what is a perfect boyfriend?? Of course the meaning for a perfect boyfriend differs with each girl. But what is the perfect boyfriend to most?

Here's a few examples;

1. A perfect boyfriend will ask you what's wrong when you're quiet and when you tell him that every thing is okay, he won't believe you.

- Some guys tend to dismiss their girlfriend even though she is bothered by something. They would simply not care since their girlfriend would say she was fine. The perfect boyfriend however, would not believe it when it is clear to them their girlfriend is troubled

2. A perfect boyfriend will call you at 12:00 am on your birthday, just to wish you a happy birthday.

- Guys tend to call their girlfriends on their birthdays a little later. Or they would not call at all and say they would rather say it to you to your face. The perfect boyfriend would not do that. He would stay up late and call you at 12.00am too wish you before anyone else.

3. A perfect boyfriend will grab you and hold you tight every time you hit him or push him like an idiot, thinking you're stronger than him.

- For example, you get mad at your boyfriend and pushed or/and hit him. Normal boyfriends would get mad at you and leave you to your anger. The perfect boyfriend will hold you to him tight and apologize for anything he's done. (And if your boyfriend is someone who hardly apologizes, hearing him say it is probably enough for you to forgive him)

4. A perfect boyfriend will always keep his promises, even when you have already forgotten about them.

- You make a promise with your boyfriend last year and you completely forgot. Normal boyfriends will forget along with you, but the perfect boyfriend would never forget every single promise he made with you even if you already forgot about them.

5. A perfect boyfriend will stay with you on the phone, even when you're not saying anything.

- When both of you are on the phone and have run out of things to say, a normal boyfriend would say bye and hang up - probably worried about the bills. But the perfect boyfriend would stay on the phone with you, not minding the phone bill.

6. A perfect boyfriend will call you beautiful instead of hot.

- When you're wearing your best clothes, a normal boyfriend would compliment you by saying you're 'hot'. But the perfect boyfriend would call you beautiful... even if you're just wearing a t-shirt and loose jeans and converse.

7. A perfect boyfriend will turn to his friend and say 'That's her.' and will hold your hand in front of them, without caring what they think.

- We all know boys are somewhat reluctant to introduce you to their friends. Some even ignore you. But the perfect boyfriend would introduce you to them and hold your hand even though he knows his friends would tease him about it later.

8. A perfect boyfriend will call you back when you hung up on him.

- You're on the phone with your boyfriend and get into an argument about something and hang up the phone. A normal boyfriend would just ignore you and leave you to your anger but a perfect boyfriend would call you back no matter what.

9. A perfect boyfriend will give you all his attention when you ignore him.

- You're doing your homework intently and ignoring your boyfriend even though he was talking to you. A normal boyfriend would give up talking to you and ignore you too. But the perfect boyfriend would disturb you until you give your attention to him.

10. A perfect boyfriend will hold you without saying a word when you're crying.

- You got into a fight with you're best friend and cry. You want to seek comfort from your boyfriend. A normal boyfriend would say everything would be alright and say things to reassure you. The perfect boyfriend would stay silent and hold you while you cry your eyes out.

11. A perfect boyfriend will sneak up and hug her waist from behind when he sees you walking.

- You're walking down the street reading or texting your friend and you don't notice your boyfriend walking a few feet behind you. A normal boyfriend would ignore you while the perfect boyfriend would sneak up to you and hug you.

12. A perfect boyfriend will kiss you to shut you up.

- You're ranting about your boyfriend behavior and he listens to you. A normal boyfriend would scream and shout at you to shut up but the perfect boyfriend would kiss you to shut you up.

13. A perfect boyfriend will let you wear his clothes.

- You want to borrow your boyfriends coat even though you have your own in your bag and he knows it. A normal boyfriend would say that you're a spoiled brat while the perfect boyfriend would just shrug and let you wear it.

14. A perfect boyfriend will follow you when you walk away from him.

- You get mad at your boyfriend and walk away. A normal boyfriend would walk away too but the perfect boyfriend would follow you.

15. A perfect boyfriend will watch your favorite movie with you, even if he thinks it's stupid.

- You and your boyfriend are flipping through the channels looking for something to watch. You want to watch a movie your boyfriend thinks is stupid. A normal boyfriend would argue with you that he would never watch something he thinks is stupid while the perfect boyfriend would just watch the movie with you.

16. A perfect boyfriend would tell not tell you that he loves you.

- He shows you that he loves you.
